Sticker FAQs

Yes! Get in touch via ‘Contact us‘ and let me know how you intend to use your stickers so that I can advise you on materials and finishes. I will then send you appropriate samples free of charge.

You may hear me talk about CMYK. CMYK stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black. It is the four-ink system I use for printing your stickers.

Screens use bright, backlit light to display colours. Inks reflect light, which makes printed colours look slightly flatter and less vibrant than they do on a glowing monitor.

Standard CMYK inks cannot replicate glowing, neon, or fluorescent shades. Super bright digital colours will automatically shift to more muted tones when printed.

Standard CMYK printing cannot create true metallic reflections. If you want a shiny or foil look, you must order specialized metallic vinyl. Please contact me if you want a metallic vinyl finish.

In Adobe Illustrator, go to File > Document Colour Mode > CMYK Colour. In Adobe Photoshop, go to Image > Mode > CMYK Colour.

If you upload a PNG, our system will automatically convert it to CMYK, which may cause a slight colour shift.

We accept PNG, and JPEG files.

Your artwork must be at least 300 DPI (dots per inch).

Usually no. Images from the internet are typically low-resolution (72 DPI), which makes them look blurry and pixelated when printed.

A bleed is a small extension of your background artwork past the cut line. It ensures no accidental white edges show if the cutting machine shifts slightly. Don’t worry, I will check this before printing your design and, if necessary, make alterations

No. If you upload your design on a transparent background, I will create the custom cut path for you.

A Die-Cut sticker is cut completely through both the vinyl sticker and the paper backing into a custom shape (some also refer to die cut stickers as ‘cut to shape’ i.e. the cut line follows the shape of the sticker).

Yes. Upon ordering, you will see a digital proof showing exactly where your sticker will be cut before we begin production.

Yes. If you notice a mistake or want to adjust the cut line, you can request changes within 24 hours of ordering.

Production starts 24 hours after ordering, which allows you time to contact me regarding changes.

Standard production time is 5 to 7 working days. Depending on the size of your order this may take longer – I will contact you if this is the case.

Shipping time is separate and depends on the delivery method you choose at checkout.

Matt sticker vinyl is not water resistant. Glossy vinyl stickers are splashproof. If you require water resistant stickers, you will need to opt for a laminate layer when ordering. These are available in matt, glossy and a variety of other specialist finishes.

Badge FAQs

CMYK is the ink system used for physical printing. Your phone or computer screen uses RGB light. Because screens glow, they show colours brighter than physical ink can match. I print in CMYK to ensure your badges look as accurate as possible.

Screens use direct light, while printed badges reflect light off paper. High-brightness digital shades and neon tones will automatically shift to a flatter, softer look when printed.

The bleed area is the outer ring of your design that wraps around the metal edge of the badge. You must extend your background artwork completely into this zone so no raw metal or white paper shows on the finished edge.

It helps, but it is not required. If you upload a square or custom image, I will automatically center it for you.

Our custom badges feature a solid metal components shell, a printed paper design layer, and a protective, high-gloss plastic covering on top.

Our standard badge comes with a classic, secure metal safety pin back. (Please reach out directly if you need clothing magnets or plastic clip backings instead).

Production starts 24 hours after ordering, which allows you time to contact me regarding changes.

They are highly water-resistant against light rain and splashes due to the plastic top layer. However, they are not waterproof and should not be run through a washing machine or submerged in water.

Standard production time is 5 to 7 working days. Depending on the size of your order this may take longer – I will contact you if this is the case. Shipping time is separate and depends on the delivery method you choose at checkout.

I offer three standard sizes to fit your needs:

  • 25mm: Small and subtle, perfect for jackets, caps, and backpacks.
  • 32mm: The most popular choice, ideal for bands, promotions, and logos.
  • 58mm: Large and high-visibility, best for events, campaigns, and detailed designs.
  • Heart Shaped 58mm (width) x 48mm (height): A fun alternative to circular badges, ideal for weddings, engagement parties, Valentine’s Day promotions, charity campaigns, and tokens of appreciation.

Large badges have a plastic backing and pin safety catch.

Sustainability FAQs

I use premium sticker paper. All of the raw paper bases are FSC-certified (Forest Stewardship Council), guaranteeing they are harvested from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental and social benefits.

My stickers and badges are printed using an Epson EcoTank printer. Unlike traditional printers that constantly discard single-use plastic cartridges into landfills, this system uses high-capacity refill bottles, cutting plastic waste by up to 90%.

The printer utilizes Epson’s Heat-Free Technology, which uses drastically less electricity than standard laser printing. The genuine inks are water-based and non-toxic, ensuring no harmful fumes are produced.

To make sure your stickers are water-resistant (where requested) and long-lasting, the printable material does require a protective top layer. Because of this, they are highly durable but not fully biodegradable. However, it is an excellent middle ground for vibrant, weather-resistant art that protects our forests.
